QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Acemar is an international trading company operating in the field of iron and steel. Our product portfolio includes long, flat and semi-finished steel products, steel making coals, steam coal, iron ore, and ferrous scrap.

Acemar head office is in Lucerne Switzerland. We operate through subsidiaries and liason offices in Turkey, USA, Africa, China and through our widespread agent network in markets elsewhere.

We are currently seeking an Office Assistant to join our team in Istanbul, Atasehir. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, a professional manner, be well organized, and have a good level of English literacy.


Responsibilities

• Manage the office reception daily work, ensure good communication and information flow in the office

• Manage the reception telephone traffic, organize the courier deliveries, manage stationary and kitchen stock availability, track and audit office-related expenses, and various other office management-related duties

• Welcome and assist the company visitors

• Assist the senior managers with various business and personal assignments

• Manage the office meeting room space and calendars, create and maintain a reliable daily and weekly schedule 

• Organize and follow up on the company document signature process 

• Keep good archiving practices of the company documents, including quality system and legal documents

• Assist with planning various events

• Keep a thorough record and forward customer feedback to the trade department


Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

• At least 2 years of Office Assistant and Administrative Affairs experience

• Good verbal and written communication in English

• Good use of MS Office programs

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Strong follow-up approach and timeliness

• Good communication skills

• Analytical and structured thinking, strong problem solving

Preferred Candidate

2 - 10 years of experience
Associate Degree(Graduate), Bachelor’s(Graduate)
