ALCE has been designing and manufacturing measurement transformers, insulators and epoxy parts for more than 50 years.

We are recruiting a “Productıon Engineer” for our “Epoxy Insulating Parts Factory” Department located at our headquarters / plants in Pendik-Kurtköy.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Advanced level of written and spoken English
• 4-5 years of experience in manufacturing industry.
• Effectively using MS Office programs.
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
• Strong analytical & organizational & reporting skills.
• Result oriented team player with good communication skills.
• Multitasking and time management skills, ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Willing to take initiative.
• Safety oriented.
• No military service obligation for male candidates.
• Preferably living on the Asian side of Istanbul.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing and executing production activities.
• Carrying out production according to the daily casting plan and defined standards of process and planning the raw material and workforce.
• Controlling the production quality of the casting workshop process.
• Assisting the technical development and daily management of the blue collar workers in production line.
• Giving information about the production process by attending daily production meetings.
• Creating reports on production and scraps.
• Participate in external and internal audits of integrated management systems.
• Making suggestions such as improving the process, working and environmental conditions, preventing occupational accidents, reducing costs, increasing efficiency, saving energy, and evaluating the suggestions coming from the blue and white collar workers.
• Taking part in lean production and 6 sigma studies as a team member.
• Participating in field visits regarding to customer complaints and conducting investigations when necessary.
• Checking that production tools are in perfect working condition and calibrated.
• Implementing work safety and health, quality, productivity goals and principles while performing these activities.
