Amadeus is a leading provider of IT solutions for the global travel industry. Amadeus Airport IT R&D organization is responsible for the development and delivery of state-of-the-art Airport Management Solutions, which includes - Airport operations system, Resource management, Passenger Processing Systems etc. These cloud-based solutions / products are used by Airports for their day-to-day operations.

In this role, you’ll find a chance to:

• Implement a test plan
• Define test cases from customer’s requirements and ensure traceability with specifications
• Write test plan (functional and/or non-functional and/or non-regression)
• Ensure improvement of non-regression test repository in the Change Request plan

Design and perform tests

• Design/Write test cases.
• Develop automation scripts (UI, API).
• Prepare test environment, test data, and execute test cases

Prepare test execution report

• Give go/no-go for the customer’s test campaign
• Be responsible for the project, product or release quality control

Problem Tracking Records

• Provide information to developers to fix defects
• Check PTR fix and give go/no-go for the load of Production PTRs
• Document software defects

Share your knowledge

• Participate in specification reviews to give input on testing requirements
• Report and communicate on test activities to the line organization, software developers and product definitions analysts
• Strong sense of responsibility for company assets, be proactive against security vulnerabilities and breaches.

About Ideal Candidate:

• To succeed in this position, QA Engineer role requires you to have relevant experience in the following areas;
• 2+ years of experience in testing software applications (web or mobile or rest API).
• Knowing black box testing techniques and web technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript).
• Hands-on experience in scripting with proven automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Protractor is a plus).
• Experience in API testing (Rest, SOAP) with proven tools (e.g. SoapUI, Postman)
• Using and maintaining testware
• ISTQB certification (Foundation or Advanced Level) is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interact and communicate successfully with business partners and technology teams
