Job Description

• Responsible for internal and external logistics processes
• Follow overall Logistics Saving and Cost Avoidance targets including reporting of cost saving potentials and achievements
• Management of inbound and outbound transportation operations including export handling, parts and equipment shipping
• External warehouse management including making contracts, increasing efficiency in capacity usage, assuring smooth material flow between shopfloor and external warehouse
• Definition of standardized procedures for internal and external logistics with creating and deployment of work instructions
• Continuous Improvement of available Procedures and Systems in respect of Logistics tasks
• Quality management coordination for internal and external logistics
• Searching and Implementation of new digital solutions for logistics integrated with SAP modules
• Development and improvement of SAP Logistics modules
• Global alignment, collaboration and benchmarks in case of potential synergies
• Catching the delivery targets together with the project and supplier team

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering
Self-motivated, independent, focused on results, enthusiastic, committed, open to new ideas, team player and must be a good listener and observer
Several years of professional experience (2-3 years) in the automotive industry (preferred)
Excellent computer skills (excel, SAP, fast in keyboard ) is essential
Good communication skills, ability to work in a team
Methodical and structured work habit
Fluent in English, German is an advantage
