Job description: 

 • Preparation of budgeted/actual results and variance analysis

• Review and explanation of monthly management information with internal customers

 • Controlling the accounting records of the company, ensuring that transactions are recorded completely, accurately and with adequate audit trail

• Preparation of audit files and liaison with external auditors incorporating finance team 

• Completing all existing and additional treasury reports and forecasts in timely manner 

• Responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management information, including accounts and key statistics and also preparation of monthly basis performance presentations 

• Develop robust pricing methodologies including the calculation and understanding of key parameters – e.g. overhead rates, commission rates etc. 

• Responsible for reporting the monthly and year end financial results to Group Finance in accordance with prescribed formats (Financial KPI & Business Performance Packs respectively) 

• Responsible for explanation, management and control of financial performance

 • Take an active role in the collection improvement process 

 • Effective monitoring/auditing of direct reports to ensure compliance to Information Security policy and Turkish regulatory procedures

• Comply with the information security policy and local quality certificates and procedures  

• Comply with all regulatory procedures applicable to the role

Requirements:

 • Minimum of 4 years finance experience, Insurance companies, Financial Services or Big 4 experience will be valued 

 • Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements

• An awareness of Turkish GAAP/ UK GAAP  

• Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to liaise with all levels

 • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

 • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities

• The ability to work to tight deadlines 

• A flexible approach to work

 • Excellent Knowledge of English language 

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
