Due to our growing plans, we are looking for a "Logistics Manager" to be located in our İzmir Plant.

Your Role

• Adhering to the approved budget and introducing suitable measures to counteract potential and actual deviations in consultation with the line manager,
• Continuously standardising and optimising processes and organisational structures and initiating corresponding measures,
• Defining, implementing and ensuring an optimum exchange of information within the division and with the interfaces,
• Implementing and ensuring efficient and effective processes in the company's internal IT systems and their documentation,
• Report and evaluate 3rd party logistics provider KPI’s,
• Partly responsible for employee relations issues including recruiting, hiring, performance reviews, terminations, enforcing workplace harassment issues and managing timekeeping systems to ensure compliance with attendance policy and unapproved overtime,
• Frequent communication with wave planning and outbound team to ensure timely replenishment and general material movements,
• Partly responsible for communicating and enforcing all of the DC safety policies and safe work methods, including lift truck safety,
• Work hand in hand with the warehouse manager to maintain the physical condition of warehouse and planning and implementing of new design layouts based on the storage and staging needs.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in especially Engineering (preferable Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering),
• Having minimum 7 years experience in managing Logistics and Supply Chain operations, at least 5 years experience in team management,
• A data-driven approach to making things better, accompanied by properly managing the human implications of decisions,
• Prior experience managing different teams, including white collar and blue collar both,
• Detailed experience with the logistics of FMCG goods requiring cold and frozen chains,
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs and SAP,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• No obstacle to travel,
• Living or able to live in İzmir or Balıkesir.
