You will be a part of the Electronics & Telecommunication R&D team where you, with your colleagues, will support with expert knowledge on electronics hardware design, development, and validation. Across our organization, we develop and refine primary and secondary electric systems including MV switchgears, PTP time servers, protection relays used in critical applications. You will be part of a friendly and intellectually challenging work environment, where collaboration and knowledge sharing are fundamental for our success.

You will play an important role in:

·        developing, implementing, and validating telecom and electronics hardware designs as well as refining existing ones

·        proactively providing, collecting, and maintaining input to our road map for technical development of our secondary product range of relays and time servers incl. planning, budgeting, and alignment of tasks with our team leaders

·        facilitating day-to-day execution of hardware development & testing and coordinating our R&D team

To succeed in the role, you are required to have:

·        Must have a relevant degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or in any relevant field on electronics hardware design

·        Must have experience in designing, developing and producing multi-layer PCBs and schematics taking IPC, EMC, EMI and signal integrity rules into consideration using Altium Designer

·        Experience in applications of EMI/EMC tests complying with the industrial standards

·        Minimum 5 years of experience of R&D Hardware Design Engineer

·        An open and curious mind, an eagerness to understand challenging subjects and a willingness to constantly drive tasks forward and improve our way of working

·        Possess solid analytical skills for problem solving and the ability to work with highly complex systems in a structured and inclusive approach

·        Professional-level English

Succeed in the role, you are preferred to:

·        Have worked with ARM CPUs, protection relays, SCADA RTU and/or Network Time Servers

·        Have experience in electronic circuit simulation tools such as SPICE, Ansys HFSS and/or SIWAVE

·        Have fundamental understanding and experience in embedded software programming and/or higher-level programming languages such as Python, C++ etc.

·        Have experience in LabVIEW
