We are looking for a Global Finance Specialist who will support Farmasi’s Global Operations, specifically in finance, accounting and tax. This role is a great fit for a candidate ready to thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing environment and who is looking for opportunities to build, learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Own global accounting, tax and compliance efforts
• Ensure preparation of timely monthly & quarterly financial statements and own/participate in month end close process
• Support in global implementation of accurate and timely financial planning and forecast processes
• Act as point of contact for financial controlling related topics
• Lead efforts for accounting policy and process documentation
• Responsible for the relations with banks and other third parties in financial services.
• Drive short-term process improvements with an eye toward longer term finance transformation and participate in evaluation of potential new systems
• Implement accounting policies and financial controls related to spending authorizations, cash management and balance sheet reconciliations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, or Business Administration
• 3+ years of finance, audit experience in FMCG, retail or global companies
• Consolidation experience in global companies
• Assist with detailed-oriented projects such as accounting system implementations, business process improvements, reporting and operational enforcement of policies, procedures, internal controls
• Experience in month-end and year-end close process including annual statutory audit
• Experience in driving transformation and efficiencies in controls and accounting systems
• CPA or equivalent required plus working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS principles and processes
• Advanced skill set in SAP, MS Office applications. Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics, Power Pivot knowhow is an asset
• Advanced verbal and written English skills
• Exceptional business judgment; capable of driving results with a focused, pragmatic approach
• Ability to formulate strategies and identify trends through research and analysis of various data
