• Preparing the contents of the shipment loaded from the Gent DC and to give Custom instructions to the Customs Officer,
• Ensuring that the custom clearance of imported products is completed quickly and accurately 
• Maintaining close contacts with BARSAN as well as TSE ( Turkish Standard Institute ) and Turkish Customs. 
• Conducting TSE operations within the scope of TSE regulations and supporting them with the required technical and institutional documents
• Coordinating the  process flow as well as sharing the technical and Customs duty details about GATES products for import operations 
• Supporting Customs Officers while they are inspecting the goods at the bonded warehouse to ensure that everything will be explained correctly to the Customs in order to finalise customs clearance without delay
• To have well experience for both TSE and Customs and it is crucially needed in Istanbul DC since importing to Turkey is a hard process with lots of regulations to be followed
• To provide required import paper works  such Invoice , packing list , ATR ..etc
• To coordinate the Tax and custom expenses with Finance
• To follow the import legislation together with the Custom Broker  and to prevent legal sanctions that may be faced

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferably have knowledge of foreign languages.
• Having at least 3 years of professional experience.
• Well Experience in Logistics and in all related subjects
• Knowledge in TSE and Turkish Customs
• Requires > 5 years experience in Supply Chain and Distribution. 
• Must have working knowledge of planning / scheduling, warehousing and products. 
• Must be skilled with basic computer software for database, spreadsheet management and in-depth knowledge of the BPCS system.
