Job Summary

Hotel Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the operations, most importantly leading a team of dynamic individuals and rallying them around a unique service culture that leaves a lasting impression on guests and associates alike.

As a Hotel Manager, develops and implements property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand’s target customer and property employees and provides a return on investment.

Areas of responsibility include Front Office, Housekeeping, Security/Loss Prevention, Human Resources, Sales and Marketing, Engineering/Maintenance, Food and Beverage/Culinary where applicable. This position is actively involved in the local community and builds strong relationships with local officials, businesses, and customers. Reports directly to the General Manager.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

• 4 years bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Tourism Management, or related major
• 5 years experience in the management operations, sales and marketing, or related professional area
• Hotel Manager experience in limited or full-service property
• Ability and willingness to work flexible

Skills and Knowledge

•          Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing).

•          Excellent inter-personal skills and teamwork

•          Strong leadership skills

•          Demonstrated ability to effectively understand hotel transactions

•          Attention to detail.

•          Accounting knowledge

•          Local Business Market and Corporate Accounts portfolio

•          Eligible for Sales calls and corporate visits

•          Handle multiple projects on short timetables and manage staff resources efficiently

•          Energetic, proactive outlook and approach to professional life is essential

•          An ability to work in a team environment with a small, but diverse team is critical.

•          Hotel Operations Manager background is a plus.

•          Fluency in English and Turkish language (written and spoken)
