Product Owner - Agile Software Development

Responsibilities:

• Be an active member in a product focused Scrum/DevOps team
• Advise and support the analysis of market and product requirements
• Enable the successful implementation of business changes by analysis of requirements and deriving the application-specific strategic and operational functional designs
• Creation and refinement of the necessary user stories with detailed and specific expertise on the business processes
• Take product decisions independently, interpret criticality of issues and trigger corresponding actions
• Track progress, test & approve results
• Continuous documentation of the system and process status as well as improvement and development of process changes
• Stakeholder-/supplier-management
• Close collaboration with other PO’s in Stuttgart
• Active participation in PI planning as per SAFe together and all other E2E Agile Delivery and Continuous Improvement activities with other PO’s in Stuttgart
• Support complex technical and process related problems and incidents as well as rollouts.
• Proactively stay up-to-date regarding Cloud platform developments (new features, new enablers, etc.)

Qualifications/Experience:

• Our working language is English. Therefore, excellent command of English (written and verbal) is a must, German would be an asset
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, Master’s degree would be an advantage
• 5+ years related experience, ideally in large enterprise environments
• Proven track record in developing software products in agile environments (Scrum & SAFe)
• Agile Product Owner certification is a plus
• Extensive experience with agile collaboration and product development tools (e.g. JIRA Software, Confluence)
• Excellent understanding of project/product management, system/software development lifecycle (SDLC) techniques and various industry standard agile practices (DevOps, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
• Exposure to technologies such as .NET framework, .NET core, C#, Angular 6+, Java, GO, FOSS Database technologies, Mongo DB,  TypeScript, ASP.NET Razor Pages, ASP.NET MVC, Web Services (SOAP, REST), Postman, Microservices Architecture, EF, EF Core, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, GIT, AWS DevOps, etc.)
• Ability to work in international teams
• No restriction for international travel
