Quality & Sourcing Engineer

We are looking for a Quality & Sourcing Engineer who will be providing services at Dilovası/Kocaeli location.

Main Responsibilities:

• Supplier selection / development
• Identify suppliers for raw material & outsourced material
• Coordinate supply processes of raw materials and traded products (import & local)
• Proceed Purchase Orders in the system
• Quality control of incoming raw materials (mainly wood) and finished products
• Proceed FAI procedures of the organisation
• Conduct periodical COC & supplier audits as per the ISO procedure
• Get involved in new projects with sales team from the quality perspective
• Vetting of customer purchase order, terms & conditions and appropriate action
• Customer Audit coordination, corrective action measures
• Coordinate to ensure implementation of CAPA – internal & supplier
• Coordinate for customer audits, documentation, action plan implementation
• Responsible for maintaining ISO certifications and promoting a culture of operational excellence
• Provide guidance for the quality standards through training, coaching, and internal audits while leveraging all available support services and resources in the organisation
• Work in close collaboration with our Production and Engineering team
• Firming up the supplier agreement, material specification, pricing
• Handle & resolve escalation from the operation team on frequent quality & delivery related supplier issue
• Maintain documents as per the QMS & EMS Process
• Preferably certified ISO Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor
• Good at problem-solving while engaging the internal stakeholders to the company’s quality standards
• This professional will report to Managing Director.

 Your profile:

• University Degree in Engineering
• Written and verbal English and Turkish language fluency
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience participating in or leading ISO audits and a proven track record of success
• Experience working with Lean Manufacturing strategies and methodologies; knowledge of 8D Root Cause Analysis
• Experience in developing and implementing a Quality Management System
• Strong customer-facing skills; ability to develop and maintain relationships with high visibility customers and understand how to be a resolver of problems
• Strong computer skills
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills and be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization and with customers and vendors
• Strategic thinker, strong team player who has a can-do attitude and have a hands-on, take-ownership personality
