Sönmez Transformer Company (STS) is a fast-growing company in the energy sector. STS manufactures power transformers, special transformers for different applications, and reactors. STS was founded in 1976. Our production plant is located in Dilovasi, Kocaeli and we have an office in Istanbul Anatolian Side. Our current export rate is more than 95% worldwide; our main markets are Central Europe, North America, and Australia.

We are searching for a Quality Management Specialist for our young and dynamic team.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyzing, designing and reviewing processes with process owners,
• Following the system documentation of Environment, Occupational Safety and Quality Systems,
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Management systems,
• Participating in related activities with internal/external and domestic/foreign audit teams within the scope of audits, ensuring coordination between auditors and relevant directorates,
• To follow up the findings determined within the scope of the audits, to inform the other relevant stakeholders,
• To follow up the relevant legislation, regulations and communiques published, to take action on related issues,
• To ensure that internal audits are carried out,
• Organizing and recording the trainings according to the demands and needs,
• To process and follow the records related to corrective and preventive actions.

Desired Skills and Experience

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, 
• At least 3 years of experience in Quality Management Systems,
• Having Quality / Environment / Occupational Safety internal auditor competency,
• Mechanical analysis experience is asset,
• Certified on ISO audit documents,
• Preferably knowledge of EN 15085,
• Experienced in process mapping and process analysis,
• Preferably experience in metal and mechanical manufacturing,
• Excellent command of written and spoken English,
• Team player, analytical and result oriented.
