Project Quality Engineer

We are looking for a "Project Quality Engineer", who is a global automotive supplier with 100% foreign capital, to be appointed in our "Quality Management" department at its facility located in Kartepe / KOCAELİ, who meets the general qualifications and job description stated below.

Purpose of Position:     

To ensure, in collaboration with the platform team and under the supervision of the coordinator and Head of Quality Division, with appropriate autonomy within the limits and principles of Quality standards and procedures, the conformity of the product/process to the implicit and explicit requirements of the Customer, during design, development and modification activities.

The Quality Engineer is the customer's representative within the organization.

Purpose:

1.            APQP COLLABORATION

Qualitative support to the platform for proper management of the APQP.

Tools/Activities.

Participates in platform meetings, ensuring the proper application of quality system procedures and representing the Client;

Facilitates the preparation of expected deliverables for each APQP stage according to the project RASI Chart, with particular focus on:

o Feasibility Analysis and Decision Matrix;

o Validation of internal and client drawings;

o DFMEA and PFMEA;

o Flow charts and Control plan (including GP12 plan);

o DV & PV plan and its results;

o Approval of sub-component PPAPs;

o Approval of control tools and MSA studies;

o Confirmation of machine and process capabilities;

o Process validation and Job1.

Supports the Customer in any validation audits, ensuring that a robust action plan is put in place to close any open points within the project deadlines. 

2.            PPAP DOCUMENTATION SUBMISSION

Constitution of the PPAP package as requested by the client and its follow-up until full approval.

Tools / Activities

Prepares the PPAP by collecting the specific documentation required and verifying its correctness and completeness;

Monitors the achievement of Customer approval, transmitting the situation within Sumiriko to proceed with the supply and to achieve payment for the equipment;

Manages the submission and approval of documentation for any variance supplies prior to PPAP approval.

3.            MAINTENANCE / PRODUCT / PROCESS CHANGES

Ensure proper adherence to defined standards in the face of natural evolutions.

Tools / Activities.

Participates in the analysis of external and internal change requests, ensuring compliance with change management principles defined by CSRs and internal procedures;

Entertains, together with the PM, customer relations until the final entry into production of the change.

4.            FEASIBILITY ANALYSIS and RFQ

Participates in feasibility meetings called by PM in the face of new RFQs, analyzing the content from a qualitative point of view.

Tools / Activities.

Checks the drawings, specifications, requirements and targets in the RFQ package from a quality perspective;

Supports the team in assessing potential project risks and identifying solutions to mitigate them;

Fosters best practice design and process solutions based on lessons learned to the greatest extent possible.
