QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Key accountabilities - Handles, or relays to related F&B Pool Manager, all guest and internal customer complaints, and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
- Understands and accurately follows the standard of a sequence of service, pre-service, and after-service procedures.
- Exceeds guest expectations with service, in keeping with the Peninsula Service Principles, focusing on the core principles. Looks for improvement for better service standard with a general theme of anticipating the guests' needs.
- Assists respective F&B Pool Manager to implement dynamic marketing programs to drive marketing/PR activities for the outlet.
- Assists respective F&B Pool Manager to ensure productivity levels are concurrently met and understands the need to prudently manage utility/payroll costs within stipulated budgetary requirements.
- Motivates, supervises, and performance manages the department employees in maintaining a culture in compliance with mission, vision and core values of HSH.
- Review guest feedback / critique forms / outlet logbooks on operational issues.
General requirements - All-encompassing food and beverage knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and time management.
- A high-level understanding of the Istanbul market, and experience in high luxury casual dining.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Food & Beverage outlet with similar standards and expectations (Hotel based or Standalone).
- Leadership experience in complex operation in big scale restaurant with large team.
- Previous “Departmental Trainer” experience.
- Degree or Diploma in hotel management.
