Key accountabilities - Always ensures the delivery of exceptional guest service, providing friendly, yet discreet and unobtrusive service in greeting, seating, and waiting on all guests.
- Handles, or relays to Pool Managers all guest and internal customer feedback, and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
- Establishes and maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
- Conducts regular trainings to employees on preparation, service, and menu pairing related to the beverage menu.
- Ensures the highest level of Health and Safety and Hygiene are maintained, reporting employee and guest accidents, and responding properly to any hotel emergency.
- To exceed guest expectations with service, in keeping with the Peninsula Service Principles, focusing on the core principles and looks for improvement for better service standard with a general theme of anticipating the guests' needs.
- Ensures that the bar/beverage preparing stations, glassware, bar equipment, bottle displays are ready, garnishes are cut, fresh pre-service and refreshments are done during service.
- Ensures that consistency and correct service techniques for all meal periods to be followed by all staff members when preparing or serving a cocktail.
General requirements - Excellent beverage knowledge. Possess knowledge of cocktail preparation.
- Good organization skills & Time management.
- To be able to ensure service excellency.
- Good hands-on service.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Food & Beverage outlet with similar standards and expectations (Hotel based or Standalone).
- Degree or Diploma in hotel management.
- Driven by precision and excellence.
